Ok, perchance sacrilegious, but I’d never had @ikea #meatballs before I went plant based. However!! Turns out they have #plantbased ones, so I decided to give ‘em a go. Spaghetti is such simple, quick comfort food - perfect for a rainy, blah night. They cooked up well and tasted fine! Not saying they’re the best, most flavourful plant balls I’ve ever had, but they did the job credibly. Cheers! No filter. Just the beaming face of a joyfully aging woman surrounded by love (and tea!!).Some days, some years, things just fall into place. Best 31st bday ever. (Technically, the ONLY 31st bday I’ve ever had, but still! It was pretty freaking grand! Thanks to the crew and @s_ggreco for a wonderful, fabulous day ♥️)It is so fantastic running into old friends!!!MmMmmMMMM!! Tweaked an old recipe favorite - added jackfruit where chicken used to be and it is 💯 PRIME!! The Greek Pasta pairs nicely w this Sauv Blanc from Marlborough, New Zealand and a lovely spring day ⛅️ 10/10 would recommend 😄These cookies are the freaking TOP!! Swoon. 🤤 vegan, gluten free, and absolutely brilliant. @partakefoods good on ya! 🍪Archives

Cambodia – The Adventure Begins
I am in Cambodia! I took a boat from Chau Doc, Vietnam up to Phnom Penh via the Mekong Delta. It was a fantastic, relaxing trip – so much nicer than bus.

Vietnam Retrospective
This is my last night in Vietnam. I have traveled an entire, beautiful, wonderful country in 30 days. Pretty cool.
Same Same, But Different
The more I travel, the more I find myself tickled when I realize how much we are all alike. Humanity. That strange, fickle beast. There are good and ill-intentioned people in every country; those who will go out of their … Continue reading

When Failure is Looming
Something I’ve been struggling with the past week is a sense of failure about this trip. People have said how brave and adventurous I am for doing this, but all I see is how much money I’m spending compared to … Continue reading
