Bangers and mash zza. Thanks @s_ggreco for the noms! It’s taken me nearly three years to get here, and I wish I’d come sooner!! @opendoortea is such a cute and comfy vibe with delicious food (and plenty of vegan/gf options!!) and the tea selection…swoon!! A good reminder that it’s important to treat yourself with gentle love and kindness. And Open Door Tea makes that sooo easy ☕️ ❤️Obligatory birthday post! Coming into 32 is feeling a bit strange. Maybe it’s just coming down from the insanity of the holidays, general malaise, or knowing I want more but not sure how to get it…whatever it is, I’m going to focus on being present in the moment and enjoying my many blessings.Best Christmas ever (so far). All thanks to @s_ggreco ♥️My love sure knows how to set the holiday mood!!! 🤩Someone was feeling a little left out of the thanksgiving feasting! Don’t worry tho - he got delicious, doggy appropriate dinner all his own after the humans ate.-

South Island Road Trip: Part 1
There was a lot of driving done on South Island, and I’d say half of it was because, “Well, I have time, so I’m going to take this several hour long side trek to see whatever’s there.” I zig-zagged back … Continue reading

Farewell Spit
No, it’s not the name of some strange leaving ritual (though now that you mention it…) – it’s the stretch of land right at the tippy top of the South Island. Weather was inclement, but I wasn’t going to let … Continue reading

Once in a Lifetime
When I traveled to Asia for four months back in 2015, my mother kept saying it was a “once in a lifetime opportunity.” My combative nature and I were like, “Why does it have to be once in a lifetime? … Continue reading
